- The BDO Cash Card is a one-of-a-kind, multi-purpose, pre-paid, card which can be used for various purposes including:
- As an ATM card. You can use the card for all kinds of ATM transactions as well as selected ML/EN transactions;
- As a Debit card. You can use this card for purchasing all kinds of goods and services in any SM branch as well as other accredited merchant outlets which display the BPI or BDO Express Payment System logos.
- BDO Cash Card is a convenient way to make your payments as it is re-loadable and you can use it without even opening a deposit account.
- Just like any other ATM card, you can pay without carrying around cash and can use it as you would use an ATM card by withdrawing cash anywhere, anytime. You can withdraw cash at any BDO, BancNet, MasterCard/Cirrus and MegaLink ATMs around the globe.
- You can also view your balance anytime you like so that you always have an idea about your financials.
- Other features of the card include being able to transfer money, refill the card, buy prepaid mobile load and pay bills with just a few taps of your finger, anywhere anytime. BDO’s electronic channels allows you to do all these via the internet, even on your phone.
- There are three types of BDO cash cards. They are:
- Generic Card which is a pre-embossed card and has no name
- Personalized Card which is a card with the customer’s name embossed on it
- Personalized Corporate which is a card with the card owner’s name embossed on it (with CASA account). The card also has a higher limit.
- It’s a simple process to get yourself a BDO Cash Card. All you need to do is follow these steps:
- Fill up a Cash Card enrollment form with purchase agreement.
- Submit one valid ID.
- The minimum amount you can reload into a cash card is P200.00. The maximum amount you can recharge into a generic cash card is P10,000, personalized card is P25,000 and personalized corporate is P100,000.
- Anyone who is 18 years or older can purchase a BDO cash card.
- It costs P100 to purchase a cash card
- If you lose your BDO Cash Card, you can get it replaced at any BDO branch. However, if you need transfer of value over-the-counter is only possible for personalized card at the maintaining branch. It is also possible to do mobile banking to transfer the value from the old card to the new.
- As a corporate client, you can get your card replaced through your TBG Account Officer.
- As a replacement fee you must pay P50.00 if you report within five calendar days from purchase. This is however only for personalized cards. If you lose a generic card, you have to buy another card which will cost P100.
- To activate the card, you must pay P100 as initial load.
- You are expected to turn in old cards (unless it is lost)
