There are three ways that you can redeem your BDO Credit Card’s points that you have collected:

These are the list of eligibility criteria:
1. The Points Redemption Program is available only to the Principal Cardholders.
2. As long as you as a principal cardholder have a good credit standing, you will be enrolled in the Points Redemption Program.
3. Currently, to be enrolled in the program you do not need an enrollment fee. You will be automatically enrolled. However, in the future, BDO CARD will maintain the right to start charging cardholders to be a part of the Points Redemption Program.
4. All charges on the principal as well as supplementary cards will be considered for earning points. However, only the principal cardholders may redeem items with the earned points.
5. Purchasing, Commercial as well as Co-brand Cards are not eligible to redeem.
How to accumulate Credit Card Points:
1. When you travel abroad you will be earning more when you use any of your BDO CARDS. If you are using the Single Currency Card, for every P50.00 charged to it, you will be earning one Credit Card Point. If you are using to BDO Titanium, Visa Platinum, Platinum MasterCard, or Diamond UnionPay, you will be earning one Credit Card Point for every P40.00 charged.
2. If you are using the Single Currency Card for dollar transactions or purchases, the cureency will be converted into Philippine Peso before working out the Credit Card Points that you have earned. Thus, the points may vary according to the conversion date on the day that your card was swiped.
3. If you are using Dual Currency Card for international transactions, you will be earning one Credit Card Point for every $1.00 spent on to it.
4. You will be earning Credit Card Points when you use your card for qualified transactions in mail order/ telephone order transactions, retail transactions as well as service merchant transactions such as at supermarkets.
5. Credit card points will be earned when the card is used for Charge on Demand transactions and Auto-Charge transactions. Look in the official website for more terms and conditions.
6. BDO will inform their customers about which transactions are valid for you to get points at what time. If there are additions to the list of transactions, BDO will announce through monthly billing statements or flyers. BDO reserves the right to decide whether a transaction can earn you points or not. This decision will be conclusive and final.
7. The points will be added on a monthly basis. If it is too late for the points to be added on the monthly billing statement, it will be held for the following month. The cardholder may not dispute this.

1. As mentioned before, the principal cardholder must have a good credit standing and accounts that are active and current for them to redeem points. If the principal cardholder has multiple credit cards, all of them must be in good credit standing, and not just the credit card with the accumulated points. When the account/s has been fully paid, the cardholder may go ahead and redeem the points.
2. BDO reserves the right to remove or suspend principal cardholders from the Points Redemption Program if either supplementary cardholders or principal cardholder breaches any of the terms and conditions of the credit card. BDO can do so based on any other ground that they find reasonable.
3. In case there has been some wrong calculation and thus addition of points to the card, BDO can remove the extra points without the cardholder’s consent. In case the points cannot be deducted, the monetary equivalent will be deducted from the credit card.
4. Credit card points cannot be transferred from a terminated Credit Card account to an active BDO Credit card account.
5. BDO has the power to decide whether earned credit card points can be stripped away in case of any fraud and abuse which is related to earning the points in the first place.
6. BDO reserves the right to decide if a cardholder is eligible for points or transfer of points.
Points Redemption
1. Points Redemption Catalogues will be sent to cardholders at certain intervals. This catalogue will hold information regarding how many points are needed for redeeming each item.
2. The account must be in an active, current and valid form, as well as not over the limit at the time of redemption.
3. Points cannot be transferred to anyone and cannot be cashed out. However if you hold the following cards: such as Gold/Classic MasterCard, UnionPay Gold, Visa Gold/Classic or JCB Classic/Gold/Premiere, you can combine all of these cards’ points and redeem from the Points Redemption Catalogue.
4. Earned points can be redeemed on the following items: gift certificates from various merchants, Push Points to BDO Rewards Card, points conversion to PAL Mabuhay Miles or Ensogo-LivingSocial credits or any of the items mentioned in the catalogue.

1. You cannot cancel/revoke points that you have already asked to be redeemed and has been accepted by BDO.
2. You cannot refund, replace, exchange for other items, transfer or convert back to points once the points have been redeemed.
3. Once you have requested for redemption and it has been validated by BDO, you can expect the delivery within four to six weeks.
